Space Week activities saw us remote into a talk on space junk and use augmented reality to explore the planets (the faces says it all!) 🪐🌍☀️🌝#knowledge#digitallearning

Outdoor Education

Outdoor Education this week saw us making egg carriers using natural materials to carry an egg round an obstacle course. We then guided our blindfolded partner round the obstacle course! #ProblemSolving#communication🥚🙈

Science Week

Our Parent Council kindly helped to fund workshops from Aberdeen Science Centre. P4-7 were space engineers and had to build a capsule for an astronaut (egg) to land safely on earth, they used junk materials to build it and had to think about how the egg wouldn’t smash when it got dropped from a height! P1-3 learned about forces and magnetism. The Cosmic Dome had a technical hitch but it’s coming back a other day 🥚👩‍🚀🧲
